Forged by Durnlak, God of the Forge, during the Third Shaping, the Scoria Dagger was never meant for mortal hands.

It was born not of perfection, but of flaw.

Within the molten depths of Mount Gorchak, where the divine forges once roared with celestial fire, Durnlak shaped a blade from fractured star-metal and living magma. The weapon drank flame as it cooled, its edge hardened by divine will and the fury of the earth itself.

The dagger burned with a fire that did not fade.

Legends claim the blade could pierce the scales of dragons, melt steel with a single strike, and leave wounds that smoldered long after battle ended.

Yet the dagger was not crafted for conquest.

It was a gift.

When the Dragon King Nyrghaz bent the knee and surrendered dominion over the burning skies, Durnlak placed the dagger in his grasp as a symbol of truce between god and wyrm.

But divine gifts rarely remain gifts for long.

In the ages that followed, the Scoria Dagger vanished from the chronicles of kings and dragons alike. What remains of its history survives only in fragmented records, charred stone tablets, and the whispered warnings of relic hunters.

The blade that ended wars may yet begin them again.

Amariin Annotation

Mortal accounts claim the Scoria Dagger was lost following the fall of the Dragon King Nyrghaz. The archive preserves no record confirming its destruction. Artifacts forged by divine hands rarely vanish without consequence. Continued monitoring recommended.
