The Weave

Neither good nor evil. The people view the Weave as the ultimate truth. And none flow with the weave like Caeltharyn.

Geography & People

Set within fertile temperate lands, bounded by old forests and silver-flowing rivers, Miradorn stands as the third most populous realm in Serathorne, home to over 500,000 souls. Though its fields are abundant and its cities stately, all wealth and labor bend—willingly or not—to the pursuit and preservation of the arcane arts.

Even the powerless speak the name Caeltharyn, god of the Weave, with reverence. Magic is faith. Magic is merit.

Cities of Note

  • Caelvireth – The capital, nestled at the southern tip of Serathorne. At the divide of the Maelwine Reach and the Emerald Span

  • Mournhold

  • Duskhall

  • Firlin’s Hollow

  • Sablemere

  • Runebend

  • Thalevar

  • Vasrith

Government & Law

Miradorn is governed by an Arcanocratic Nobility—a system where power flows not through coin nor crown, but through magical aptitude. Bloodlines persist, but a common-born arcanist may rise above princes if they bend the weave with mastery.

  • Crown Magister – A ceremonial monarch, heir to old lineages, now little more than a figurehead.

  • Council of Spellwrights – 33 exalted archmages who shape policy through ritual discourse and spellbinding law.

  • Provincial Sigils – Nobles empowered by both blood and spellcraft, governing cities and regions.

Culture & Identity

Spire of Virelune

Miradorn is older than its throne, and older still than its current council. Its people are raised to believe that magic is not only ability—it is identity, faith, and inheritance.

  • Names are sacred—bestowed through ancestry and affinity

  • Discipline defines status—prodigies are revered, but wild mages are feared

  • The Spire of Virelune is the soul of the nation—part academy, part sanctum, part living entity

  • Even non-magic folk wear glyph-charms and pray to Caeltharyn before contracts or childbirth
