Their Hatred is Strong
The Border That Burns
Indrestes lies too close—and every Coal clan remembers. Skirmishes, cave raids, and silent vengeance mark the border. Indresten soldiers fear the stone wind at night.
The Enemy Above
Unlike their kin, the Coal Mountain clans do not speak of dwarves with fury—but of humans. Indrestes, with its stone-thieving axes and surface-born pride, is a curse spat in every Grakkari war song. It was humans who slew their kin, burned their tunnels, and named them monsters.
The dwarves forgot them.
The humans tried to erase them.
And the Grakkari of the Coal Mountains remember
The Flame of Memory
Coal Mountain clans burn their dead with coals from the Deepheart Furnace, their greatest forge. Smoke is drawn into carved memory vents, sanctifying the tunnels with the names of the fallen. Their presence lingers. So does their rage.
Ash and Iron
The Coal Mountains are not dead. Beneath their dark ridgelines, the Grakkari keep the forges hot and the grudges hotter. Every hammerstroke echoes in remembrance of stolen land and dwarven betrayal.
