Though Myrallune is still named in sacred oaths, the gods feel distant here. Many pray in silence, or not at all. Velmara claims Aureholt as vassal, but beneath the frost, rebellion stirs—slow as root growth, but deeper than the snowdrift knows.

Cold-hewn and stoic, the people of Aureholt cling to their traditions. White timber is their lifeblood, harvested in reverence beneath snow-heavy pines. Story and honor are passed through fire-circle tales, and no child grows without knowing the weight of an axe.
Ruling Class
Aureholt is ruled by a Council of Eldren Houses, once sovereign but now reduced to vassal-lords under Velmaran authority. No single monarch sits the throne—decisions are made by oath and blood-mark. Though they did not fight Velmara’s annexation, many still bear the shame in silence.
